The three airports Sundsvall/Härnösand (Midlanda), Örnsköldsvik, and Kramfors/Sollefteå have several daily flights to Stockholm. Rail traffic in the county takes Stambanan and Ostkustbanan. Regional traffic goes on Mittbanan between Sundsvall and Östersund, with connections to Trondheim in Norway. The Bothnia Line is Sweden´s largest railroad project in modern times. It is being built in the county and will offer high-speed train traffic north to Umeå. The Ådal Line is the future link between the renovated Ostkustbanan and the Bothnia Line. The road E4 and E14 make the county a hub that makes travel to and from the area easy.
